What I know for sure is that the MORE we honor & lift up others, the more we honor our own journeys and receive exactly what we need, when we need it, to RISE ABOVE ourselves!
Today, we want to introduce you to Kim Sales. You can explore her world even more HERE.
Kim, what can you share about your own current journey of self-reclamation & why you started your biz?
I have whole heARTedly reclaimed my passion for creating art and sharing the magic with others. I worked as a Corp. Creative for 3+ decades. As an Art Director, Marketing Executive + in various management positions and it served me well for many years but creating on demand lost it’s luster for me and I needed to find a way back to creating that brings me joy . . . my souls purpose. That’s why I started KimSales.com where I could share my passion and knowledge of how tapping into your intuitive creative awarness can harness well being and foster a happier you – it worked for me!
What inspires you right now?
Symbols are my jam, I absolutely love creating with them, learning from them and helping others discover the magic of their own personal symbols. I created the Sacred Soul Symbols Certification to take you on a journey, a gateway to illuminating your inner knowing. They are an endless reservoir of insight & guidance for you to tap into always, anywhere! I believe they are the breadcrumbs your soul leaves for you to follow for your greater good.
What is your favorite part of “working” with your clients?
The connection & friendship that happens when like minded people share a common passion for creativity. Each person’s journey is so unique, we teach each other so much along the way – it’s an energy exchange and transformative experience for me and the people I have the honor of guiding. MAGIC!
Do you work / play with people more in person or online? Why?
I LOVE both. Online provides the ability to learn at your own pace in your own space which is great for people who have busy schedules, or live in other parts of the world – most of my clients are online. This global connection makes for a wonderful & interesting community for all of us. In person is a great option if you like more hands-on personal experience and live in or around Minnesota.
What challenge, or “underworld” experience, has been most influential to your professional life?
Leaving the Corporate world for an entrepreneurial creative path. I started creating because it was how I communicated and related to the world, seeing it through the eyes of a child with Dyslexia. While other children could read and write, I leaned into creativity, drawing, painting, and spending time in nature. I viewed the world through symbols and imagery. This sparked my love of creativity and the freedom it provides the creator. As I grew, I followed the corporate creative path getting a BFA, then a successful corp career in advertising and marketing. Which is what I thought was the only real path available to me at time. I was making good money and doing all the right ladder climbing but it was not what made me happy. All the never ending meetings followed by more meetings, less and less creativity with heap loads of stress – I needed a change. I had to dig deep, and reevaluate what I wanted from my life. I needed to simplify and go back to the beginning to what really makes me happy. Creativity. Reclaiming my creativity is the best decision I ever made . . . following my heART and intuition that’s the good stuff!
